Schafer Visit and Audrey's soccer game

We had a lovely visit from the Schafer's!  The girls enjoyed hanging out and we enjoyed showing Janet and Nicholas Fort Wayne.

Fiefdom Project and Turtle Drawing

Alexis had a killer project of making a fiefdom.  I thought she did a great job.

Soccer and Track

Spring soccer started and as usual Audrey loved it.  This was her third season with the same coach and most of the same players.  She continues to love the positions of goalie and defender.  She doesn't like being a forward because there is too much running involved.  She said she likes running after the ball and then getting a break.

Alexis also tried a new sport this Spring---Track.  She was pretty excited to try hurdles but unfortunately we didn't like how the team was coached.  I ended up teaching her and her friends how to run a relay race---an hour before her first meet.  Crazy.  But she said she wants to try again next year and try to run the mile.  

Alexis' Track Meet

Alexis decided to try Track this Spring with her middle school team.  She was excited to try hurdles but unfortunately her coaches weren't very good.  She still enjoyed exercising though.  She competed in one meet where she ran a relay race.  She loved it.  She wants to try again next year and hopefully it will be more successful.

Vera Bradley Sale 2012

Last year I took Alexis to the Vera Bradley Sale at the Coliseum and it seems once was enough.  This year I took Audrey.  She was great!  She had no problem waiting over an hour to get in and this girl loves to shop.  She has always been my shopping buddy since pre-school!  I love this girl!

Easter 2012

We stayed in Fort Wayne this Easter.  It was a nice, quiet Easter.  

Forever Friends Run

We all participated in this 4 mile run/2 mile walk in Angola, IN.  It was a beautiful morning.  Ben and Alexis ran the 4 miles no problem.  Audrey and I walked the 2 miles together.  I had to be creative to keep her interested for the whole 2 miles but we did it!  We all got t-shirts which we love to wear.
