4th of July

We had a really nice 4th of July this year. Andrew and Lori drove down from MN on Friday the 3rd. Lori and I played games and went for runs. On the 4th we went to the Brown Deer Parade. The kids got more candy there then they do trick or treating. Crazy! I ended up throwing 3/4 of it in the trash. After the parade Lori and I took the girls to swim at the Brown Deer Pond. That was fun. When we got home Ben had the grill all ready to go. The Greens came over with their kids (well, two of their four kids since the older two were at their grandparents house in UT). Around 9pm we went to watch fireworks and set off sparklers in a nearby softball field. All in all, a very enjoyable holiday and a great beginning to three weeks of travel with Lori, Lily, and Abby.
