Getting better every year.

Last night Ben was looking at a picture of me and Alexis back when Alexis was just 11 months old. He made the comment that he loved that picture. He said he loved the way I looked in that picture. I said I actually hate the way I look in that picture. Alexis said, "Yeah, I think you look better now then you did then. Plus, you're a better mom now then you were then." To which I replied, "Oh really? I wasn't a very good mom back then?" She said, "Oh, you get better every year." HA! I'm very glad to know that my parenting skills are improving each year.

Two mornings ago Alexis woke up with some allergy issues. She was sniffling and I told her we needed to give her some medicine before school. Audrey laid on top of Alexis' lap and said, "Oh, Alexis, you have pollen issues!"

Two of my favorite phrases that Audrey uses that are incorrect are: silly potty (for silly putty) and whenever we get to use the elevator she calls it an alligator. I just love those slip ups. I do think she knows the elevator one know but she stills says alligator because I like it so much.

Isaiah calls elevators "alligators". I love it too.

Cute! Who better to judge our parenting skills than our kids!?!

I can totally picture Audrey stretching across Alexis' lap and saying that. What a cutie elevator she is! :)
