We took a family trip to explore Louisville, KY. This is how Audrey spent the four drive:
And this is how Alexis spent the four hour drive:
We stopped at a statue store and found this really scary pig:
We went to Kart Kountry which is the largest Go-Kart track in the world. We all drove one (Audrey with me) and then we played arcades where Audrey hit it big:
We also went mini golfing and just beat getting poured on.
Alexis and I rode on this water ride and got soaked! Then Audrey and Alexis rode it and got each other soaked too.
The girls used their arcade tickets for guitars.
We went to Old Louisville which had some awesome houses. It was fun to walk around.
Alexis' favorite house in Old Louisville because it's pink.
We took a tour of The Conrad--Caldwell House which was really cool actually. We learned a lot about the family and their history with Louisville.
We also went to the Speed Art Museum.
Those who know my history with art museums, this picture is for you:
There was a hands on room for the kids that was really fun. They each wrote a short story:
Stacking blocks
Playing house
Another story:
We also went to a skateboarding park. All in all we had a great time and enjoyed our trip. Hooray for family weekend trips!
