Thanksgiving SLC Trip

For Thanksgiving I got to go visit my family.  Peggy and I flew to Salt Lake City to spend time with Andy in the hospital.  He had been really sick and it looked like he would spend Thanksgiving in the hospital.  We had to wear these masks the first day we visited because the patients, along with Andy, were neutropenic, which means they have little or no white blood cells.  Don't we look fantastic?

I was so very happy to get to see Noelle for lunch the day we flew in.  I haven't seen her in a few years and it was so great to catch up.  I wish I had more time with her.

Now on to the fun!  We played games and watched The Dark Night Rises with Andy.

Andy started feeling so much better and his blood count went up enough to go home!  So Peggy and I drove him home!  We had a delayed Thanksgiving but the food was just as good!

It was a lot of fun spending Thanksgiving with my family.  I haven't had Thanksgiving with my family in years.  Peggy and I got to go to Temple Square and see the lights and have a nice dinner at The Cheesecake Factory.  It was so fun to spend time with Peggy!
