Patches

Today I went to my friend Holly's house to sew patches onto Audrey's jeans. Her jeans are hand me downs and are starting to get holes so I thought I would save some money this way. Now, Holly has an AMAZING sewing/embroidery machine and a surger. It was so fun! I don't know if the pictures are any good but the one below has flowers stiched on the inside of the patch. Just to let you know just how fancy her machine is...it can stich side to side. So cool.

I personally put the hearts on this patch. I realize with this close of a shot you are seeing that my hearts do not match up/line up perfectly. But I managed to get the same number of them on the top and bottom and on the sides. So part of it matches! :)

I really want a sewing machine now. I am asking for money for my birthday and Christmas presents just for that. I have all sorts of projects that I would like to start.
Tomorrow Audrey and I are going to a pumpkin farm with her preschool. Should be fun and I should have lots of pictures to upload tomorrow!
