Pumpkin Farm, Silliness, Gymnastics, and Art

This was Audrey's first bus ride. She was thrilled. She even made me take a picture of the back of the seat. We had a fun time on her preschool field trip to a pumpkin farm. We saw barn animals and sang Old MacDonald, watched a little play, had a hay ride, and picked out a pumpkin.
Now, it was around 44 degrees outside this particular morning. We were all cold! It probably felt colder to us than it normally would have because two days before this it was in the mid-80's! It was quite a shock to go down forty degrees!
This was Audrey's favorite part. She picked a really good pumpkin and reminds me of that daily.
Not an attractive picture of me but very cute of Audrey. I don't think I will try to take any more of us this way! :)
This one is just the girls being silly and wanting to take pictures.
We were chopping down our front yard on Saturday. We were outside a lot to chop, gather, and put it all in our lawn bags. Audrey and Alexis took turns wearing these headphones outside while working. I thought it was funny. Especially whenever they shouted at us to talk!
Audrey being silly for the camera.
Audrey at a gymnastics open gym time. She loved swinging on a bar and dropping into these foam squares.
Audrey's birthday invitation. Hope you can read it. Doesn't look like it. It says, "Hear ye, Hear ye! Her Majesty, Princess Audrey of the House of Thomas requires your presence at the celebration of the 4th year of her birth, at our castle, 7630 N. 51st Blvd., November 10th, 10:30-12:30; RSVP to Queen and King Thomas at ....; gowns, crowns, and castles too, nothing short of a royal celebration will do!" I then rolled these up and tied them with gold ribbon.
I had a request to put some pictures of Alexis drawings on the blog. Here are just a few that I found lying around the house. She is constantly drawing and coloring. Today she made a coloring book for Audrey.

She made this last year, in first grade. She puts so much detail in everything that she draws.
I took a picture of this because she spent an hour on this. She colored each letter according to an animal that starts with that letter. For instance, the r is a rabbit and she made it hairy. The y is a yak so just brown! She made this for her cousing Lily. It is part of a school project that we get to send to them and they have to mail it back to turn it in. My favorite kind of project! I don't have to do anything! (Look out Lori!)

Abby went through your whole blog yesterday looking at all the pictures and reading some of them. It was so cute, she kept saying that Aundrey looks like Alexis, I think I agree. She really misses Alexis.

Tell Alexis that her pictures are great! She is a good little artist. And I love the picture of you and Audrey on the bus. Go look at my blog, I just posted 10-19. With pictures.
