Today was Alexis' last day of 2nd grade. I can hardly believe that she will be in third grade soon! That makes me feel old. :( She brought home these two pieces of artwork and they are my favorites from this year. Especially the one of the geisha. I love all the detail she put into it. She even skipped afternoon recess to finish it. She also skipped afternoon recess to clean overhead films for her teacher. She just loves school.
On another topic: I really hate ants in my house. With all of our rain I keep finding them! They are the bigger ones too. That's even worse. But there is not a trail of them anywhere just scouts probably. I take great pleasure in smashing each and every one!

Alexis is quite the artist! If you think 3rd grade makes you feel old, try MIDDLE SCHOOL! I'm not ready . . .
Those drawings are great! I am glad you took pictures of them.
I would seriously pay good money for that art work. You have quite a little talent on your hands.
