Why is it that I get so extremely giddy about new appliances? When I bought our stove months back it suddenly was a delight to cook dinner. Usually it never is. Yesterday I got a new dishwasher and disposal installed. It was so exciting! I now have a disposal that doesn't spit water on me and shout at me! It's so quiet I can run it while talking on the phone. And I can't say enough about my dishwasher! It's exciting to have an appliance that I picked out and not one that came with the house. It is quiet (at least I'm pretty sure it is. I haven't heard it full tilt yet because I usually run it at midnight while we all sleep. Our old one sounded like an army tank) and actually dries all my dishes. I used to have to empty the dishwasher items onto my kitchen counter to dry. What's the point of that? And my plastic items did not have any soap scum left on them. I used to have to rewash those. Once the dishwasher was installed I wanted to dirty a bunch of dishes just so I could play with the buttons and see how it ran. Anyway, it was a pretty exciting day yesterday! :)
This is for my lovely friend Nellie. I get all my birthday ideas off of the web. I type in birthday party themes on the google search and scour tons of different sites that come up. I take the suggestions that I like and put it all into one party. So none of my ideas are new or fresh they are just completely stolen from others! But when you get the best ideas off of each site you get a great party! I would even type in 11 year old party themes to get really specific. I absolutely love planning birthday parties. It's so much fun and I love the day of the birthday. That is why Audrey's birthday is already completely planned and invitations already given out five weeks early! :) Good luck and let me know what you end of doing!

If you're looking for dirty dishes, I've got plenty for you!!
I get excited over appliances too. Must be a woman thing.
Em, you are a gem! I am so glad you blog, because then I can still pretend we are neighbors. What a lovely 5 years it was back in good onld Hoskins Ct. It is less than 2 weeks away, and still no difinite plans. It doesn't help that our ward trunk-or-treat is the same night as her bday, and the next day (Sat.) we have 3 soccer games. I really need to get organized -- thanks SO much for the tips. I feel so special . . .
Congrats on the new stuff, may it lull you to sleep!
