Last night Audrey and I were reading The Little Engine that Could. About 3/4 of the way through the book Audrey stops me and says, "If I was an adult and the toy clown and animals stopped me and asked for help I wouldn't help them because they should figure out their own problems." Hmmm. I think Audrey got the opposite lesson out of that story than I did.
The girls were discussing a school day coming up that is called Career Day. You get to dress up like the career that you want to go into. Alexis of course said she was dressing as an artist. Audrey announced, "Well, I'm going to be a vegetarian!" Alexis responded, "Audrey, that's when you don't eat meat. That's not a career." Audrey looked confused for a minute and I gently suggested that maybe she meant vetrinarian. Audrey still looked confused. I told her that is an animal doctor. She then looked very relieved and said, "yeah, that."

That is funny! "No Service for you. Sorry figure it out yourself."
Jordan keeps talking about what he wants to be when he grows up, and each time it changes he has to inform me of the new plan. It's cute.
