On the 27th, Alexis' actual birthday, we had Janet (Ben's sister) and Nicholas and their two girls, Adelyn and Maren, come for a visit. They had just had a mini winter vacation in the Dells and decided to come visit us for two days. It was so much fun! It was really fun to have them here on Alexis' birthday night. She enjoyed opening family presents with them. She acquired several more webkinz upping her total to a whopping 21, or something like that. I know, overboard but she loves those things and they are relativley inexpensive. Plus, you should see the games Alexis and Audrey come up with using all those webkinz. Hours of entertainment.
Anyway, Alexis and Audrey only had a half day of school that day so we spent the rest of the afternoon getting ready for our visitors and enjoying a quiet afternoon. I brought Alexis some flowers (pink carnations) and balloons to school when I picked her up. She really loved that. Audrey helped me wrap all the presents. And we had taco salad for dinner, one of her favorite meals.
We enjoyed two very late nights with Janet and Nicholas! We stayed up late talking both nights. I think the second night we finally went to bed at 1:30am. It was very enjoyable though. We also played RockBand when Ben got home from work the second night.
I took the girls out of school on Thursday and we went to the Betty Brinn Children's Museum. We stayed there for almost four hours I believe. That is the longest I have ever stayed there. The girls all had so much fun playing there together. Janet, Nicholas, and I even joined in the fun calling each other on the phones in the various mock shops. Janet even delivered me a plastic sandwich from the marketplace as I busily worked on someone's car at the mechanic shop. :)
Thanks for coming to visit us! We had tons of fun! We will return the visit this summer!

What a fun day for Alexis, the flowers and balloons were such a cute idea!
Good luck with getting pictures on here. I much prefer posting when I have pictures to go with. But it's still fun for us (well, me at least) to read what you guys have been up to, pix or no.
We had a ball with all four of you! Thanks for letting us come visit.
So I visited you before I left. Does that qualify me to receive a return visit this summer as well? :)
