Day 2
Tuesday we spent 12 hours driving. There were no detours, thank goodness and the drive went smoothly. We stopped three times this day. We were heading to Logan, Utah to visit our great friends, The Stricklers. My real reason for the trip was a family reunion at Yellowstone National Park. However, I discovered that the Stricklers were only 4 hours from where we would be staying for the reunion and since I was driving out to the reunion I couldn't pass up the chance to stop and see them. We drove by Bear Lake, which is pictured below. It is gorgeous. We drove through the Logan Pass/Canyon. It was so beautiful. It has been awhile since I have been in the mountains. I loved driving next to the river and listening the water. Audrey really loved the mountains. She kept telling me, "Look at those mountains!" Over the next two days in Logan every time we went outside one of her first comments were, "There's the mountains!" So cute! So after 26 hours of driving we got to Logan, UT where we would stay for two full days.
