Day 6--Saturday, Part 1

This was our first day in the park. Andy, Dana, and Thanny (their youngest, Nathaniel) stayed at the house because they weren't feeling well. As soon as we got into the park we came across the awesome bald eagle nest. There were two parents and a baby in the nest. That was fun to see every time we came into the park.

Then we came across our first buffalos. The one you see below was right out of our window. Just eating away without a care in the world.

We came across this big herd with tons of babies and had to stop and look. The buffalo babies are so stinkin' cute. They get to be such massive creatures and not really that pretty. Audrey said she thought they looked gentle.

We stopped at our first geyser this day. The picture below is of a mudpot. Those are cool but man do they stink. Actually all of the geysers we say also smelled terrible. The girls hated that smell. Rotten eggs. Yum.
